Fantastic Fishing Trip

"We first went on a fishing trip with Captain Eric in 2018 when we were in Sanibel with our (then 6 year old) grandson for his February school break. Captain Eric was great. He was knowledgeable, informative, and very helpful. He was also patient with three people who didn’t have a lot of fishing experience. It was the absolute highlight of the week for our grandson who caught the most “dinner fish.” The Lazy Flamingo will cook your catch for you, and we had a delicious fish dinner.

We have continued our February Sanibel fishing trips since then and it remains the highlight of our Sanibel week. No guarantees when fishing, but Captain Eric knows good spots and if one doesn’t work that day then another will. We always end up catching a good number of fish. Different fish in different years. Our grandson catching a shark this year will be a lifetime memory for him."

Had an absolutely incredible day with Eric...he accommodated us last minute, and brought us and our 3 kids out on the gulf for an afternoon of fishing. He was patient with our 3 ‘rookies’ and we quickly caught a wide variety of fish. The day was topped off with us hooking and working a monster shark for over an hour...we didn’t land it, but it was a huge thrill (and workout) nonetheless. The best part is our kids are now ‘hooked’ on fishing. I’ve been out with a few guides over the years, and Eric not only knows his stuff, but is patient, personable, and overall made it an amazing day. "Reelentless Pursuit is awesome. Eric is a down to earth guy that is fun and VERY knowledgeable. Plan on catching about everything and if you want to switch it up he'll find dolphins or take you to a remote island to find sea shells. We brought our 4 and 6 year olds and they had a blast. They would play with the bait (shrimp) for a couple minutes then Eric would get a fish on and have them reel it in. Awesome time!"
